What is Volvo certified used equipment?

All Volvo certified used equipment is inspected and classified into three categories:

Certified Used Equipment

Machines undergo a 140+ pt. inspection at a Volvo Certified used center and are reconditioned using Volvo-approved parts and components.

Engine Ready Used Equipment

Machines are de-tiered to work in less regulated markets outside the United States and Europe.

Inspected Used Equipment

Machines undergo a 140+ pt. inspection at a Volvo Certified used center. Buyers know the detailed condition of the machine at the time of sale.

Jared Haughton

Certified Used Sales Manager

Jared grew up in the used equipment business, first with his father's company managing surface mining and dirt equipment inventories for major competitor brands before joining Volvo CE. His expertise is in machine inspection and verification. Jared manages the Volvo Certified Used Centers in Las Vegas, Detroit, Philadelphia, Jacksonville and Shippensburg. Jared was raised in Texas and took up steer wrestling during his high school and college years, eventually joining the professional rodeo circuit. Today he lives in Alma, Arkansas, where he enjoys spending his downtime with his wife and young son and doing metal fabrication projects.

Ernesto Gonzalez

Regional Sales (Southwest and Midwest)

Ernesto has made used equipment sales a 30-year career, and today covers the southern tier of the United States as well as the Midwest and mid-Atlantic regions. His responsibilities also extend to the Latin America market, with expertise in export procedures for used equipment exiting the US to Central, South America and Mexico. He managed Volvo CE's export office in Miami for five years before becoming field-based. Over the decades, Ernesto's warm personality and hands-on method of working with customers have turned many business clients into long-time friends. Ernesto is fluent in Spanish and English. He currently lives in San Antonio, Texas. Ernesto has three children and two granddaughters. In his free time, Ernesto enjoys camping with his family and motorcycle adventures.

Kevin Keith

Regional Sales (West Coast and Western Canada)

Kevin has been around Volvo Construction equipment for over 23 years. He brings a vast amount of Volvo Construction equipment product knowledge and sales experience. Before joining Volvo Remarketing, Kevin was a sales manager at a Volvo CE dealership. Kevin's responsibilities included forecasting, strategic planning and managing the sales process. He spent much of his time structuring deals and engaging the customer with his team securing sales. Kevin was responsible for not only new equipment sales but also purchasing used equipment from Volvo Remarketing, giving him an understanding of both the dealer and Volvo CE roles. As he likes to say "I get it". Kevin's experience and warm, outgoing personality make him an asset to both his dealers and our team. Kevin covers the western United States, plus Michigan, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Maryland, Virginia and Alabama. Kevin graduated from Arkansas State University and now lives in Little Rock, Arkansas with his wife Marissa and son Kade. During his down time he enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing and sporting events and loves entertaining guests at home.

Brandon Martin

Remarketing Sales Analyst - Volvo Remarketing Services

Brandon works out of the Volvo CE home base in Pennsylvania, where he helps manage the inventory of used equipment coming off lease and provide equipment availability data to our Volvo dealer network. Brandon also fields inquiries from the Volvoceused.com web site and call center. He is a graduate of Shippensburg University with a degree in Business Administration/Management. Brandon prefers to spend his outside of the office time outdoors and counts hunting, fishing, hiking and snowboarding among his activities.
